Evonik Industries increases the cost of methyl methacrylate
On March 1, 2010 the company Evonik Industries (Germany) will sell methyl methacrylate (MMA) brand Visiomer new prices, said Plastinfo.ru.
For European consumers the material rise in price of 140 euros per tonne. For the other markets except the NAFTA region, for which the cost of MMA will be raised separately, prices will rise to 195 dollars per ton.

Evonik Industries - German industrial group, a leading business in the chemical and energy industries, as well as selling real estate. In 2008, the state Evonik numbered about 41 000 employees and sales volume reached 15, 9 billion euros, of which 60% - operations outside Germany. EBIT amounted to 1, 3 billion euros.
